Walking sticks and umbrellas have a habit of disappearing right when you need them most. As you’re heading out the door in a rush, suddenly they’re nowhere to be seen. That’s why we created Kina: a beautiful, digitally crafted walking stick stand that keeps your essentials upright, in sight, and ready to roam.
But what makes them truly special? It’s not just their sculptural silhouettes or eye-catching hues. It’s how we make them.
We use 3D printing with plant-based plastics, as a part of our ongoing commitment to sustainable design practices.
Instead of shipping bulky finished products around the globe, we bring in just the raw material: lightweight, plant-based filament. That means we cut carbon without cutting corners, printing locally and only printing on request.
Kina is anything but ordinary. The curves and character aren’t just for show—they’re nearly impossible to mass-produce with conventional moulding. 3D printing lets us bring these bold ideas to life without the sky-high tooling costs and we can tweak as we observe areas for improvement.
We’re passionate about bringing style and colour to your home and with each product we continue to revitalise a medical looking industry. From deep void blue to tangerine orange, kānuka pink and ember red, our materials come alive with pigment and individuality.
Because 3D printing builds up layer by layer, we generate almost zero waste. Unlike traditional methods that mould plastic pellets into parts, we only print what there is actual demand for. Precision meets purpose.
Sustainability doesn’t stop there. If you’re done with your Kina, you can return it for a credit toward something new. We’ll either resell it or recycle it into something fresh. And if a piece comes off the printer with a small blemish but is structurally sound? We don’t waste it. We offer it at a special price—keeping good design in use and out of landfill.
Kina isn’t just there to help you move—its made to move things forward. Sustainably. Elegantly. One beautiful print at a time.
We’re excited to share a new, smaller version of the Kina stand soon. Sign up to our newsletter to hear as soon as it’s released.
