Shipping

We aim to get your package in the post within the next working day. All orders are shipped with NZ Post. You will receive a tracking link once your order has been dispatched.

Returns and Exchanges

We offer free return delivery within New Zealand. You can return any item within 30 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging.

What if the stick isn't right?

We’re confident that you’ll love your new ooak product, however if not 100% satisfied we offer returns/exchanges on full priced, unused items within 30 days from the purchase date.

Refunds and exchanges will only be processed if items are in original, resellable condition, and in its original unmarked box with hang tags. If returned in unsellable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund and will return the item(s) back to you. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

Please note: Returns/exchanges only apply to purchases made online at ooak.co. We do not accept returns from Stockists/resellers. Please get in touch with your original place of purchase to do so.

Our Right to Reject Your Purchase/Return, or Cancel An Order: The sale of products and fulfillment of orders at ooak through our e-commerce site is contingent upon product availability and discretion in managing inventory. ooak explicitly reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to limit, decline, or reject any sales, returns, and orders for any reason, without being liable for any damages or costs, except for repaying any amount received from the customer in relation to such sale or order.

Damages and issues. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

What if I need a height outside of the range you offer?

The Uno goes from 82 to 95 cm. If you are outside that range, email us before ordering and we will let you know whether we can help.

What are shipping costs?

Free delivery on orders over $150. A flat $5 rate applies to orders under $150.

North Island: 3 to 5 business days.
South Island: 5 to 7 business days.

Do you ship internationally?

Our standard shipping covers New Zealand and Australia only, but we're very happy to ship internationally! Please email us at store@ooak.co if you would like to arrange custom shipping.

Is the wood sustainable?

Yes. We do our best to ensure all hardwood in the Uno is responsibly sourced.

Do you offer trade or wholesale pricing?

Yes, we work with partners to get our beautiful sticks out in the world. Email store@ooak.co to discuss.

How long will it take to receive my order?

We try our best to package orders within one working day and get them in the post to you. Shipping times can vary, but we generally aim to have sticks to you within a week. You will receive emails with the tracking information, so you can keep an eye on where your package has got to.

How do I find tracking information?

Our nominated courier service is NZ Post.

We will send you an email with your tracking number, once your order has been dispatched from our distribution centre to let you know that it is on its way.

A signature may be required on delivery. If you are unavailable, please nominate a secure delivery address where someone is available to sign or if you're happy for the courier to leave, please leave a detailed note at checkout with instructions.
We do not currently deliver to collection points such as: PO Boxes.

Once your parcel has been picked up by our courier provider, ooak is no longer liable or responsible for any delays or lost/damaged items. If the address provided is unattended, an attempted delivery card will be left (if you haven't otherwise stated to leave) and your parcel will be redirected to the nearest courier depot for you to collect. In the scenario you have any issues with your delivery please contact the courier company to lodge a claim.

How do I care for the wooden stem?

Wipe down with a dry or lightly damp cloth. A light furniture oil applied occasionally keeps the grain in good condition. Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or damp environments for extended periods.
